The Temples of Cambodia

In Cambodia, there are many amazing temples such as Angkor Wat, Beyon, Banteay Srei, etc, which was built by Khmer king. Especially, Angkor Wat is one of most wonderful temples in Cambodia. Angkor Wat was built by the khmer king Suryavarman II. As you see in the picture below, the temples is at the top of high classical style of khmer architectures. The traveler’s first see the Angkor Wat temple always express their feeling for Khmer genius because “Angkor Wat outer wall, 1,024 m (3,360 ft) by 802 m (2,631 ft) and 4.5 m (15 ft) high, is surrounded by a 30 m (98 ft) apron of open ground and a moat 190 m (620 ft) wide and over 5 kilometres (3 mi) in perimeter” (Own, 2018).
